Wood
We source our domestic hardwoods locally. They originate from mills practicing sustainable forest management. We use natural, VOC free finishes. Oiled Oak gets its warm, amber hue from the natural oils in this clear finish while Natural Oak gets a tinted version of the same finish to help maintain the raw character of the wood. Each finish has a subtle, satin sheen. Wood is a natural material and features such as color may vary slightly. For more information on our approach to sustainability, click here.

Danish Cord
Danish cord is a strong, three-ply, paper cord roughly 1/8” in diameter. The black cord is dyed prior to being twisted together, while the natural cord is a kraft-brown color free of dyes. Danish cord is known for its durability - said to last upwards of 60 years before needing to be replaced. It’s typically waxed to aid durability and prevent stains. Aegean by Knoll is a textural solid upholstery with a soft hand in a broad palette of warm and inviting color options. This textile contains natural fibers, is VOC Emissions Certified and rated Clean Air Gold. It is free of flame retardants and is LBC Red List approved. For care and maintenance, click here.
